Saint Peters-on-the-Wall

Built by St Cedd of Lindisfarne in AD654, this Saxon chapel is always open and offers a small exhibition about its history and a bookstall. Evening services are held every Sun during Jul and Aug at 1830. Disabled visitors by arrangement.
